(VIDEO) Integrating Homeopathy and Conventional Medicine

‘Homeopathy has the answer’

These are the words of Dr. Tim Robinson, one of 400 GP’s who integrate Homeopathy into their General Practice, seeing over 200,000 NHS patients a year. Over 40,000 patients are treated in NHS Homeopathic Hospitals in the UK, offering a cheap and holistic treatment for conditions where, according to Dr. Robinson ‘conventional medicine has failed’.

I was a Registered Nurse for 20 years, a lot of that time working in the NHS. I was proud to work as part of a dedicated team of professionals, helping people when they were sick. My frustration arose when I saw the same people being admitted with the same, preventable diseases over and over again. Diseases which were often preventable and often due to poor diet or habits such as smoking.

I have been a Registered Member of the Society of Homeopaths* for 16 years now. I remain passionate in my intention to continue to be part of the ‘team’; to work alongside other health professionals by adopting a patient-centred, integrative approach to getting people well. As Dr. Robinson states, Homepathy has an answer where conventional medicine has no treatment for conditions such as glandular fever or leg cramps.

And it’s cheap.

*The Society of Homeopaths is a professional body whose members are trained to high standards and agree to practise according to a strict code of ethics and practice.
